Suzy O'Brien founded The Red Wagon in 1997 after the birth of her first child. She saw the need for unique and stylish children's clothing, and Boston parents welcomed the new store. What started out as a small Charlestown neighborhood shop quickly grew and moved twice before setting at its current two-level space in the heart of Beacon Hill on Charles Street. Suzy's goal for The Red Wagon is to offer such a vast and unique selection of clothing, shoes and accessories, so busy parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles can be sure they'll leave with the right necessities and gifts. The shop stocks over one hundred lines of domestic and European clothing and shoes; everything from play- clothes to party dresses. Italian, French, and American shoes coordinate with both classic and funky fashions sure to please both parents and kids. The Red Wagon prides itself on attentive customer service, our staff doest its best to help you have an enjoyable shopping experience. We are happy to notify customers when their favorite brands arrive, and we love kids! They can read and play while you shop and are welcome to a balloon on their way out. We receive new styles everyday, which allows for an ever-changing inventory. Only one or two sizes per style are available which means you won't see your child's outfit coming or going. We have been awarded Best of Boston Magazine three times, so stop in and check out the clothes and shoes kids love to wear! |
